YOUNG CARERS SAY THANK YOU!

Southbourne Lions were delighted to receive an invitation from the Young Carers at Bourne Community College for them to show off their College facilities and to provide us with afternoon tea as a thank you.

Several young carers enthusiastically showed us all round the College and we were very impressed with the quality of the classroom environment, studious behaviour of all the pupils and the friendly staff. And to top it all we were treated to cups of tea and delicious scones made by the pupils in their very impressive catering department.

Southbourne Lions through generous donations from our local community have been able to provide an annual visit to the pantomime at Chichester Festival Theatre and an annual activities day at The Christian Youth Enterprise. The Lions Club members are always ready to organize these trips as they bring so much pleasure to such a worthy group of young people who are constantly helping their loved ones at home.
