Southbourne Lions would like to thank all those in the community who kindly bought tickets for our Giant Easter Egg Raffle. Many thanks also to the following establishments that took part, Fox and Hounds - Funtington, Richmond Arms - West Ashling, White Swan – Bosham, Barley Mow – Walderton, Berkeley Arms – Bosham, The Woodmancote – Woodmancote, Barley Corn – Chidham, Stags Head- Westbourne, Sussex Brewery – Hermitage and the Travellers Joy, Southbourne.

Chris Young, Director of the Sussex Brewery, (in the photo) said “ We managed to sell all 120 raffle tickets within 7 days due to the support of our locals and guests. The lucky winners are our loving locals Steve and Gilly”.

As a result of the raffle Southbourne Lions has added over £400 to their charity funds.  These funds enable us to work with the community, for instance, helping local families, schools, youth activities, young carers, and age concern.  In addition, we contribute funds to national charities like the Air Ambulance and International Disaster Relief.
