Results of the Southbourne Lions local Peace Poster competition for Primary Schools are in!

Three schools took part, Southbourne Juniors, Bosham Primary and Chidham Primary with a total of 57 children drawing a poster representing their ideas of a Peace Super Hero. A local artist, Allan “Skip” Davies decided on the winner from each school and each winner was awarded a £20 Hobbycraft Voucher and entered into the next level of the competition. The photo was taken of the winner from Southbourne Primary School with Lion President Lynn and Lion Debbie Weavers.

The three Headteachers were pleased to receive a cheque for £50 to buy art materials for their school and they thanked both the Lions and the local community for running and supporting the art competition which the children had really enjoyed.
